Seasonal Protection: Adapt to Extreme Environments

Different seasons greatly affect high‑power e‑motorcycle batteries and overall performance. Targeted protection further extends service life:

1. Summer Protection (High Temperature & Rainy)

  • Avoid Charging in Direct Sunlight: High summer temperature plus charging heat severely damages cells. Charge in a cool, ventilated area.

  • Maintenance After Rain Riding: Prevent water from entering battery compartment and controller. Dry the vehicle thoroughly, especially ports, before charging.

  • Reduce Long Continuous Riding: After 1 hour of riding in high heat, stop for 10–15 minutes to cool the battery and motor.

2. Winter Protection (Low Temperature & Cold)

  • Preheat the Battery: Cold reduces lithium activity, cutting range by 30%–50%. Precharge for 1 hour (to 30%–50%) before riding to boost performance.

  • Avoid Outdoor Storage: Park indoors if possible. If stored outside, cover the battery compartment to reduce cold damage.

  • Lower Riding Power: Avoid aggressive acceleration and high speed. Ride at medium‑low speed, reduce load, and shorten each trip.
